About the role
This post is at Providere Academy, incorporating Annabelle Pre-School, for the 2027 academic year. We are looking for an IT Teacher to teach basic coding, digital citizenship and computer skills. Minimum requirements: • A recognised qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, ICT Education or a related field • A recognised teaching qualification will be an advantage • Experience teaching ICT at primary school level will be an advantage • Knowledge of the Cambridge Primary Computing or Digital Literacy curriculum, or willingness to undergo relevant Cambridge training • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, presentations, spreadsheets and internet use • Ability to teach basic coding, digital citizenship, online safety and computer skills appropriate to learners’ ages • Strong classroom management, communication and lesson-planning skills • Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning • Commitment to child safeguarding, learner development and continuous professional growth
What you will do

- Plan lessons suited to learners’ ages
- Help teachers use technology in their teaching
- Take part in Cambridge training where needed
