About the role
Providere Academy opens in January 2027. We are looking for a warm, well-organised Grade R teacher who builds early literacy and numeracy through play and who knows every child by name.
What you will do
- Plan and teach daily lessons using a play-based approach
- Build early reading, writing and number skills
- Keep clear records of each learner’s progress
- Work closely with parents and the Principal
What we are looking for
- Diploma or higher
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Phonics
- Classroom management
- Lesson planning
- Early childhood
